The latest addition to the C.A. family sports a 20 fret OX cut-away body style acoustic guitar, giving you a look and sound you won't believe at a surprisingly affordable price.
The OX is available in the new "Raw" finish over our classic carbon top, or a beautiful high-gloss with charcoal black and sides and a clear coated pure carbon finish top. It's got a cool, edgy look and feel of brushed stainless steel with the same warm, rich tone you've come to expect from Composite Acoustics. The OX has more low end and power than our thin body X and more focus and definition than our bigger bodied GX. It's a dream to play with a unique neck shape and soft contours; the sound and feel of this instrument make it really hard to put down. |
New & Used Guitars, Basses, Amps, Pedals, & Gear
Mojo Guitar Works attempts to carry both new and used guitars and accessories so that we always keep items in stock for every budget and price range. We are very selective about the guitars and amplifiers we choose to carry. We are not the biggest guitar store in San Antonio, but before any new or used guitar goes up for sale, it is first taken to a repair bench and professionally setup. This assures that every guitar on the wall meets the standards of what our customers deserve. It does not happen often but periodically we are shipped new guitars that don’t meet our standards and
they are sent directly back to the manufacturer. If the guitar isn't good enough for us, it isn't good enough for you.
We specialize in guitar repairs and custom guitar builds as well as complex guitar modifications but we also have a retail area of the store that we keep stocked with everything that any guitarist would need. We are not a complete music store so we don't carry drums or other types of band instruments. We are a small locally owned and operated guitar store and therefore everything we carry is geared towards guitars and basses as well as other similar stringed instruments (banjos, ukuleles, & mandolins).
We recently moved the store to our Crownpoint Drive location. This move was mainly for the purpose of creating a larger retail area and if you visited our previous store you know why. Even though we made this move for the purpose of expanding our retail area, we continue to offer the same repair and custom build services that we always have.

There are many music stores that sell guitars in San Antonio, but what we offer is a level of knowledge and customer service that is top ranked in our business. We offer common guitar repair and maintenance services, but also offer more complex services that are hard to find in the San Antonio area. We try to offer every guitarist what they are seeking, whether it’s new gear or simply offering help with maximizing on the gear they already have. Our philosophy is that we are bringing customer service back; one guitar at a time.
At our store we have an industrial woodworking shop where we build custom electric guitars, so if you are wondering if we are qualified to tackle your project, come on by and check us out.
